Golf tournaments have many purposes. Companies host clients and reward top employees with an outing on the links; many charities raise needed funds through tournament events; and groups and associations choose to challenge different courses in their event schedules. The Georgia State Park Golf Courses offer seven unique and challenging experiences throughout the state. An event at any of our courses will surely be memorable, plus our staff is eager to host your next golf tournament or outing. We can handle all of the details and assure you a day of pure golfing enjoyment. Call our Tournament Coordinator at 1-800-982-3691 or complete this form and see which of our courses can meet the challenge of your next event.

Golf tournaments are a great way to bring people together or to entertain for business. The knowledgeable staff of PGA professionals at each Georgia State Park golf facility will assist you in choosing the format and services which best suit your event purpose.

Popular Formats

  • Scramble - All players hit off the tee. The best drive is selected and each golfer plays from that spot. This process continues until the ball is holed.
  • Best Ball - All players play his/her own ball throughout. Low score on each hole is recorded for the group’s score.
  • Stableford Scoring - Points are given for birdies, eagles and double-eagles. No points are given for par and points are taken away for bogies and double bogies. Player or group with the highest point total is winner.
  • Callaway Scoring - Handicap strokes are awarded based on scores for the round only. This format provides a handicap for players who do not carry a certified handicap.
